Fast-forward to today and the many teams are talking with each other, everyone inside and outside of the trust knows what everyone is doing and why, the management teams are now perceived as the foundation and not as an untouchable higher-superpower, and
morale is up, and will most likely stay up.
We started in the boardroom. The Organisation chart was vague and entirely the wrong way up. There was no comms plan, no central knowledge source, little communication, little opportunity to be heard and no feedback devices, repository or permissions.
We ran a series of surveys and stakeholder engagement workshops and listened to the teams speak, and then it all became clear; what was wrong and how to put that right...
We then drew up a comms strategy for each pillar of the trust, and a plan which detailed who would do what, and when. We then developed agendas for each pillar so nothing would get missed in the future. And what a change!
